On being named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies
When we started Efekta, the goal was simple: solve the world’s massive teacher shortage by harnessing the astonishing power of generative AI to give every student access to a personal tutor, for the cost of a textbook. This doesn’t replace the classroom teacher — it gives them their time back, so they can spend more of it with their students.
Being named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies is a sign we’re building something that matters.
This recognition belongs to every person on the Efekta team, and to EF and Philip Hult for backing the conviction from day one.
I’m proud of what we’ve built so far. But I’m even more excited about what comes next.
